The URCaregiver app provides stress-management strategies for caregivers of people with dementia. The app does not access, collect, use, or share any user data. The primary use of the app is to provide users with information about practical strategies to manage stress that caregivers may be experiencing. We are able to obtain information on the number of app downloads from the app stores, but the location of app users is not obtained. Within the app, we provide external links to activity documents, YouTube videos, and resource websites that users can click or download to supplement the information provided in the app. However, we do not collect or share any user data to these parties.
How Can You Contact Us?
The app was developed by researchers from the Health Psychology Laboratory based at the University of Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada. The app was also developed by developers from the Research IT Support (RITS) at the University of Regina.
