Gretta Lynn Ell is the executive director for Continuing Care, Programming & Utilization in the Long Term Care Service Line, Regina with the Saskatchewan Health Authority. She has 45+ years of health care, health services, and program development experience in a variety of positions and care settings in Saskatchewan and Ontario. She has worked develop-ing the Long Term Care Program in the Regina Health District, and has managed the Long Term Care system in the (former) Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region. Greta Lynn Ell received the 2016 Centre on Aging and Health Award for Innovation in Health Care Delivery.
Stephen Robinovitch, Ph.D. is Professor at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada, with dual appointments in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology, and Engineering Science. His program on Technology for Injury Prevention in Seniors (www.sfu.ca/tips) focuses on the cause and prevention of falls and fall-related injuries in older adults. Dr. Robinovitch received his Ph.D. in 1995 in Medical Engineering from MIT/ Harvard. He has received a Canada Research Chair award, a New Investigator Award from CIHR, and a Scholar Award from the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research.
Thomas Hadjistavropoulos, Ph.D., FCAHS is Research Chair in Aging and Health and Professor of Psychology at the University of Regina. His work, summarized in over 180 peer reviewed articles and book chapters as well as five books, focuses primarily on pain in dementia. He is currently working toward the development of advanced technologies designed to assess and monitor pain in older adults with severe cognitive impairments.
